Circle Earring Tutorial – Week 4

DSC_0283

We are now on Week 4 on my 52 Week Challenge.  And I will end my basic shape designs with my favorite the circle.  This is my favorite shape to make because it is the easiest to make out of wire!

The tools that you will need are:

Pencil

Pliers

Wire Cutters

Measuring tool

Copper Wire – cut at 2 1/2 inches (This is for practice, remember not to put it in your ear.)

Sterling Silver Wire – that is also cut at 2 1/2 inches (Begin using the Sterling Silver when you are feeling confident in making it.)

Here is the Circle Earring Tutorial on youtube –

I apologize in advance for any instructions that may not make sense.  If you do have any question on how to make these earrings just leave a comment and I will help you out:)

The people in the picture from left to right: my mom, Nicole, and Angela (me)

This past week was my moms birthday on January 8th and my birthday on January 10th.  I have always loved sharing a birth week with my mom.  I always felt and still feel so lucky that I am able to share a birthday so close to my moms.  Oftentimes we make it a birth week when we are together, and just have a fun week full of things that we enjoy doing.

My favorite birthday tradition is when my whole family gets together and we all get in a circle and tell the birthday person what they like or love about that special birthday person!  My husband calls it the Circle of Love, and we have tried to do it with our sweet boys.  My family has come a long way with our compliments to our brothers and sisters.  My dad likes to remind me that I was having a hard time finding something nice to say to my older sister Collette, so I said that she has nice teeth and I like her teacher.  Through years of practice, we have learned how to express how much we love and appreciate each other.  And it makes me grateful to be a part of such a wonderful family.
