How our Etsy shop is doing!

Our etsy shop has been opened for a little more than two years.  It has been so fun to see our Etsy shop grow and have more products added to it.  Every time we have an order, I still get SUPER EXCITED.  And I have a feeling that will never change:)  There are so many wonderful jewelers and products out there, that it is a blessing every time someone chooses us.  All I can say is Thank you!

I went over all all the jewelry orders, and it was surprising what was selling, and what was not selling.  The 80 20 Principle came to mind.  This is known as the Pareto Principle Wikipedia described it best:

The Pareto principle (also known as the 80–20 rule, the law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.[1][2] Management consultant Joseph M. Juran suggested the principle and named it after Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, who observed in 1906 that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population; Pareto developed the principle by observing that 20% of the pea pods in his garden contained 80% of the peas.[2]

This can apply to business by

80% of a company’s sales come from 20% of its products

This principle also applies to us.  I thought it would be best to go from the lowest to the highest of the jewelry orders being sold.

First of all some of the items in our Etsy shop have not sold.  We have 65 jewelry items and only 46 have sold.

Here are some pieces of jewelry that have never sold:

Tales of the Shop:

Halloween is coming up!  We are planning on picking pumpkins tomorrow, my 3 year old Bennett aka Jake from the Jake and the Neverland Pirate, loves everything Halloween and has been pointing to the Pumpkin patch for a long time wanting to pick one!  Because who does not love a good pumpkin?  Last year we carved it too early, so it was moldy and falling a part by the time Halloween came.  We are trying harder to wait for the big Pumpkin carving event…
